Most points scored by a Warriors player in an NBA Finals game
You only need to know three names for this category: Curry, Rick Barry and Kevin Durant. When it comes to the Warriors’ history, that trio has posted the top 10 highest-scoring games in the NBA Finals.
Barry leads the way on Golden State’s list with a 55-point outburst in Game 3 of the 1967 NBA Finals. The crazy part? Barry, a career 89.3 percent free throw shooter, left a few points at the charity stripe. He only hit 11 of his 19 free throw attempts (57.9 percent).

Most points scored by any player in an NBA Finals game
Six decades later, Elgin Baylor still holds the record. The Lakers legend dropped 61 points on the Celtics in Game 5 of the 1962 NBA Finals, leading them to a 126-121 victory and 3-2 series lead. Unfortunately for Baylor, Bill Russell and the Celtics took the next two games and captured their fourth straight title.
Baylor, Barry, Michael Jordan, Jerry West, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bob Pettit are the only players who have scored at least 50 points in an NBA Finals game.
