Macintosh System 7.5: While in finder mode, hold down option key and click on the Apple menu to select “About This Macintosh.” It will show the original finder background (circa 1984) with a scrolling list of the creators of the original finder across the bottom of the box.
Microsoft Excel 5.0 for Windows: Choose “toolbars” from the “view” menu. Click “customize.” From the “custom” button area drag the deck of cards onto the standard toolbar. Hold down control-shift-alt and click on the cards for an animated credits presentation.
Doom: Typing “idclev#” (the pound sign represents a level number) during play will transport you to that level. Typing “iddqd” will make your avatar invincible, a state known among many Doomheads as “God mode.”
