Carter Jr.’s mom spoke with ABC 11 reporter Bridget Condon after the incident to share her side of the story. She said the Rhode Island fans likely didn’t realize she was the mom of one of the players, but was still upset with how she was treated.
As for the Rhode Island basketball team, they couldn’t keep momentum as the game quickly got out of hand.
