After we had gone snorkelling and he had taken out the certified divers, Paul briefed us on the rules and dos and don’ts. Fraser and I sat on the boat while he fitted the jacket and tanks on us. The tanks were so heavy that we really couldn’t stand up. He first shoved me in the water just 10 inches from the surface for me to get used to breathing and stuff.

It was so great. I loved it! Even though the water was really murky I couldn’t wait to get off on my own. Once Fraser got in, Paul swam in the middle while holding on to both of our jackets just in case. Mommy and Daddy came in too and took lots of pictures. I don’t think I’ll ever snorkel again after that. It’s such a different feeling!

It was really fun being the one who blows the bubbles. What I mean is that when Fraser and I snorkel we look for divers and then swim right over them to hit the bubbles coming into our faces. Now we get to be the ones making the bubbles.
