The former welterweight champion, now 35, is considered one of the best fighters in MMA history at 25-2. He last fought in 2013.

“… I love my sport and I still feel I’m at my best right now. The clock is running. I’m not getting any younger. I’m in my peak of my career, and if there is a shot, there is another goal, another run, I better do it and do it quick, because it is time to do it now,” St-Pierre said on Monday’s “MMA Hour”.
According to MMA Fighting, negotiations are ongoing between UFC and St-Pierre. The Canadian star held the welterweight title from 2007-13, defending his belt nine times.
St-Pierre indicated a preference to fight Michael Bisping in his return.
“Now I have someone who is challenging me in Michael Bisping,” St-Pierre said. “… If it’s a fight that the fans and the UFC want to make, they’ve got my number, they can call my agent, no problem.”
