The Yankees topped the Athletics in dramatic fashion, as infielder DJ LeMahieu blasted a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 11th inning, vaulting his team to a 4-3 victory at Yankee Stadium. 

While LeMahieu went 1 for 5 on the day, he came up big when his team needed him most. Gary Sanchez was 2 for 3 at the plate and hit two home runs.

New York only tallied six hits but four of them cleared the outfield wall.

Matt Olson notched three hits in his four at-bats and was instrumental to the success of the Athletics’ offense.
