Starting Sunday, July 11, the lives of some of the most talented amateur baseball players in the country will be forever changed when they are selected by an MLB team.

This year, the draft will be 20 rounds, an increase from the pandemic-shortened version last year, but still half the more traditional 40-round MLB Draft that had become the most recent format in the league.

Still, this will be a three-day period that many will never forget and that will shape the future of MLB. The first round of the draft, compensation pick for the Reds and the Competitive Balance Round A will be held on Sunday, the second through 10th rounds will be held on Monday and the final 10 rounds will take place on Tuesday. The Astros will not pick until the third round as a penalty for the team’s sign-stealing scandal.

Here’s how the full draft order will shape up over the three-day period.
