The New York Times reported that Jason Riley, the man largely credited with Jeter’s high level of play late in his career, founded the supplement company Elementz Nutrition with pharmacist Charlie Sly, the man who said (and since recanted) he sent HGH to Manning’s wife in the Al Jazeera report.

Riley also worked with Ryan Howard and Ryan Zimmerman, who were mentioned in the Al Jazeera report. Both have since taken legal action against Al Jazeera for defamation.
The Yankees legend has been removed from the PED discussion, and even this potential link seems far-fetched. Regardless, Jeter and MLB certainly wants the reputation of one of the game’s biggest names for nearly two decades to remain clean.
