Xander Bogaerts, Pablo Sandoval and Blake Swihart were walking through the snow to Progressive Field on Monday from their team hotel when Napoli pulled up and gave them a lift the remainder of the trek, as chronicled by Providence Journal reporter Brian MacPherson.

While Napoli was able to help out his Red Sox allies, Indians manager (and former Sox skipper) Terry Francona wasn’t fazed by the below-freezing temperatures and zipped away from the postponement on his faithful scooter. 

The game was rescheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET Tuesday. No word yet if Napoli’s carpool will make another appearance.
