But it’s the blend of youth and season veterans that has Krzyzewski so pumped up about the upcoming season.

“I’m more excited because we have such good upperclassmen to teach the younger guys,” Krzyzewski told ESPN.com. “Upperclass leadership with such a young group is a gift.”
Considering Duke struggled with injuries last year and essentially played in the NCAA Tournament several men down, Krzyzewski is excited to have such a robust roster.
“We not only have really good guys, we have really secure guys,” Krzyzewski said when asked if inflated egos could hinder the team. “They’re in it for one thing and that’s us winning games. They’ve already won. Most of them have won a national championship. They’ve won 60 games for us. They get us.”
