The corpse of San Juana Macias, 40, apparently went unnoticed for three days at the Rodeway Inn off Highway 290, despite both housekeeping staff and detectives having entered the room. Jamie Wingwood, 40, has been arrested after confessing to the murder, according to an affidavit. Wingwood and Macias dated on and off for about three years, family members say, but were not currently involved. Macias’ daughter Andrea Tealer claimed Wingwood threatened to kill her right before she went missing on July 5: “He basically told her on Fourth of July that he was going to—you know she had so many hours to live that he was going to kill her,” Tealer told CBS Austin....
